It has been a while I haven’t blogged… Now I’m trying to convince myself that I was too busy with my last semester at the university, research paper, and job hunting… The truth however is that I lacked commitment.
Commitment is a tricky trait. If you look at it, everyone is committed to something. Some people are committed to sustain their families, some are committed to achieve results at work, others are committed to saving the environment, and many are committed to not doing anything of value, laziness and failure.
Being committed to achieve aspiring goals however is crucial to sustain growth and success specially in the marketing field today.
With tens of thousands of marketing messages that customers are exposed every day, it is important to stand out from the crowd by consistently communicating valuable, informative, and entertaining content.
This consistency requires commitment. Unless the marketer truly believes in value of his product or service and is passionate about sharing that value with the world, his messages are unlikely to stay consistent or relevant to the target audience.
The way I see it, reaching to customers minds and hearts nowadays is like cracking a solid rock! Yet, just as water drops can do that over time, marketers have to stay committed to communicating value.
